Minted Pecans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. pecans, halved
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. white Karo syrup
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. oil of peppermint (from your pharmacist)
    1 Tbsp. creme de menthe
    6 large marshmallows
    1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cook sugar, salt, Karo and water to soft ball stage.
    Chop marshmallows and add to mixture to melt.
    Add oil of peppermint and creme de menthe to mixture.
    Stir in pecans until mix begins to harden.
    Spread on waxed paper to cool; separate.
