Coconut Icebox Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. melted shortening
    1/2 c. margarine
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 c. coconut
    2 c. quick oats
    2 c. flour
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream shortening, margarine and sugar.
    Add eggs.
    Sift flour and soda together; add remaining ingredients.
    Form into a roll. Chill at least 5 hours or overnight.
    Slice into 1/4-inch slices; bake at 350\u00b0 for about 10 minutes.
    Makes four 6-inch rolls.
