Chili Limas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. dried large lima beans
    2 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1 c. chopped onion
    2 cloves garlic
    2 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 pt. tomatoes
Preparation
    Soak beans overnight.
    Cook and season with bacon or ham hock. Cook until beans are done; drain and put in large casserole dish. Brown meat; add onion, pepper, garlic, salt and chili powder. Mix well; add tomatoes and sugar.
    Pour over beans.
    Mix lightly and bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
