Oatmeal Ready-To-Go Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. boiling water
    1 c. oats
    1/2 c. shortening (Crisco)
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 egg yolks
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 2/3 c. self-rising flour
Preparation
    Mix boiling water and oats; set aside to cool.
    Blend remaining ingredients well on low speed.
    Add oatmeal and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
