Stuffed Spicy Clams - cooking recipe
Ingredients

24 clams, washed and scrubbed
1/4 c. water
4 Tbsp. butter (1/2 stick)
3 large garlic cloves, minced
2 Tbsp. minced cilantro
3 Tbsp. fine bread crumbs, seasoned with cayenne pepper and 1 Tbsp. basil
Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Steam clams in water just until they open.
Remove the whole clams from the shells.
Save 1/2 of each shell.
Preheat broiler and place clams back on 1/2 shell.
Combine the remainder of ingredients except Parmesan cheese.
Spread 1 teaspoon on each clam and lightly sprinkle with cheese.
Place under broiler 3 to 4 minutes until lightly browned.
