Far East Celery - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. celery (1-inch chunks)
    water chestnuts (5 oz.), sliced and drained
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1/4 c. diced pimiento
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    1/4 c. toasted slivered almonds
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Cook celery in small amount of boiling salted water until crisp, about 8 minutes.
    Drain.
    Mix celery, water chestnuts, soup and pimiento in a 1-quart casserole.
    Toss bread crumbs with almonds in melted butter.
    Sprinkle over ingredients in casserole. Bake in 350\u00b0 oven about 35 minutes.
