Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. water
    1 c. milk
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    5 c. self-rising flour
    1 pkg. yeast
Preparation
    Put first 4 ingredients in a pan and stir over heat until everything is melted.
    Let cool to lukewarm.
    Stir in one package of yeast.
    Gradually work flour into liquid, stirring and kneading as necessary, then let rise until double in bulk.
    Knead well, put in covered bowl and refrigerate.
    Make rolls and let rise 2 to 2 1/2 hours at room temperature.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 until light brown, about 10 minutes.
