Moist Layer Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    4 eggs, separated
    3 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. soda, dissolved in 1 Tbsp. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. milk
    2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Beat the egg whites until stiff; set aside.
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add 2 of the yolks, one at a time, beating well after each.
    (Other 2 yolks can be used in making fillings, if needed.) Add flour and milk alternately until all is used.
    Add vanilla and soda water.
    Fold in egg whites.
    Bake in three 9-inch greased and floured pans at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
