Cherry Chiffon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 egg yolks
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cherry juice
1 c. cherries
1 pkg. gelatin
1/4 c. cold water
4 egg whites
1/4 c. sugar
Preparation

Combine egg yolks, sugar and cherry juice.
Cook until of custard consistency.
Remove from fire and add cherries. Dissolve gelatin in cold water.
Add to custard and let get very cold.
Beat whites of eggs until stiff, then add sugar and beat 1/2 minute.
Add this to custard.
Put in cold crust, heaping high.
