Caramel Popcorn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 qt. popcorn
    1 c. peanuts
    1 c. margarine
    2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. Karo syrup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Boil margarine, brown sugar, Karo syrup, salt, vanilla and soda for 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat.
    Pour at once over popped corn and peanuts (optional) on large cookie sheets.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Stir every 15 minutes.
    Spread apart and cool.
    Store in tight container.
