Ingredients

1/2 lb. sweet butter
4 c. flour
1 c. sugar
3 egg yolks
1 tsp. baking powder
juice and rind of 1 orange
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar together.
Add yolks.
Add combined baking powder and flour, also juice and rind of orange.
Roll out dough and cut with fancy round 2-inch cookie cutter.
Half of these are to be baked as cut; the other half should have a hole cut in the center with a thimble before baking.
These are the tops.
When cooled, put together with currant jelly.
For baking, use oven at 350\u00b0 and bake for 15 minutes.
