Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
3 c. sugar
3 c. flour, sifted 2 times
1/2 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. cocoa (may be heaping up)
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. shortening (Crisco)
5 eggs
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Cream together butter and shortening.
Add sugar and cream. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each one.
Add vanilla. Sift all dry ingredients together.
Add dry ingredients and milk alternately to creamed mixture.
Bake in 10-inch tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 80 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
Let cool 5 minutes before turning out of pan.
