Festive Marshmallow Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients

8 oz. sour cream
16 oz. smooth curd or small curd cottage cheese
1 can fruit cocktail, drained
1 can mandarin oranges, drained
1 jar red maraschino cherries (save juice)
1 pkg. small size colored marshmallows

Preparation

Mix the sour cream and cottage cheese.
Mix in fruit cocktail and mandarin oranges.
Mix in the package of marshmallows.
Take the maraschino cherries, cut them in half and mix throughout. Finally, take the maraschino cherry juice and add about 1/2 to the salad.
This will give it a nice, pink look.
Chill several hours.
