Leafy Black Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. flour
2 eggs
1/2 c. sour milk
1 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. hot water

Preparation

Beat eggs; add shortening and milk.
Then add dry ingredients and hot water last.
Pour into 2 well-greased and floured cake pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until pick comes out clean.
Ice when cake is cool.
