Ready To Eat Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9 c. sliced cucumbers (very thin)
    1 c. green peppers
    1 c. onion, sliced
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Sprinkle salt and celery seed over cucumbers, peppers and onion.
    Mix well.
    Mix separately 2 cups sugar and 1 cup vinegar. Mix until sugar dissolves.
    Pour over cucumber mixture.
    Put into jars and cover.
    This will keep in refrigerator a month or more.
