Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
    2 1/2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Mix sugar and margarine.
    Add egg and extracts.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Measure flour; sift dry ingredients together and blend in.
    Refrigerate 2 to 3 hours or longer.
    Divide dough into balls. Roll out on lightly floured board and cut with cookie cutters (roll thin).
    Place on a lightly greased baking sheet.
    Bake 7 to 8 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Makes 5 dozen cookies.
