No Fail Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 c. shortening
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Blend flour, sugar and salt.
    Cut in shortening until particles are the size of peas.
    Beat egg; blend in vinegar and cold water.
    Sprinkle over flour mixture a tablespoon at a time, tossing with fork to mix.
    Gather dough together with fingers. Divide into small sections and wrap to freeze if desired.
    Makes 5 (9-inch) crusts.
