Southern Peanut Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
3/4 c. white Karo syrup
1/4 c. melted oleo
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. roasted peanuts
1 (10-inch) pie shell
Preparation

Combine first 6 ingredients.
Beat well; add peanuts.
Pour into pie shell.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes, then lower heat to 350\u00b0 for approximately 30 minutes.
Serve at room temperature. Serves 8 to 10.
Top with Cool Whip and chopped peanuts.
