Easy Boston Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 packaged cake layers
    1 (15 1/2 oz.) can prepared vanilla pudding or 1 (17 1/2 oz.) pkg. refrigerated vanilla flavor pudding
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
Preparation
    Put one cake layer on serving plate. Spread with pudding to within 1/2-inch of outer edge. Top with second cake layer, pressing down firmly. Combine semi-sweet chocolate pieces and evaporated milk in small saucepan. Stir over medium heat until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Spread chocolate mixture on top layer. Keep at room temperature until ready to serve.
