Three Weeks Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. white cabbage, chopped fine
    1 green bell pepper
    2 onions
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. vegetable oil
    1 c. vinegar
    1 or 2 tsp. celery seed
    1 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Let cabbage, bell pepper, onions and sugar stand while preparing oil, vinegar, celery seed and salt.
    Bring oil mixture to a boil.
    While hot, pour over cabbage mixture and stir.
    Will keep for 3 weeks in refrigerator.
