Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. water
2 Tbsp. white Karo syrup
3 Tbsp. dry strawberry or raspberry jello
1 tsp. lemon juice
red food coloring
strawberries, well drained
Preparation

Combine first 4 ingredients and boil until clear; add dry jello, lemon juice and food coloring.
Cool and pour over strawberries that have been placed in a baked pie shell.
Chill. May garnish with whipped topping, if desired.
