Baked Lentils - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. lentils
2 1/2 qt. water
1 bay leaf
2 c. chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
2 large carrots, thinly sliced
1/2 c. thin sliced celery
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
16 oz. can tomatoes, drained
1 Tbsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. marjoram
1/4 tsp. sage
1/4 tsp. thyme
8 oz. cheese
Preparation

Combine lentils, water and bay leaf in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil, lower heat, cover and simmer 30 minutes.
Drain. Put lentils in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
