Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. cane syrup
    1 c. cooking oil
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1/4 c. cold water
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. hot water
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Mix sugar, syrup and oil.
    Beat well. Dissolve soda in cold water.
    Add the rest of the ingredients except the hot water.
    Blend well.
    Add hot water.
    Mixture will be thin, it makes a big batch.
    Bake for 40 to 50 minutes.
