Salty Peanut Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    1 c. minus 1 Tbsp. shortening
    1 c. oatmeal
    1 c. corn flakes
    1 can Spanish peanuts
Preparation
    Sift together flour, baking powder and soda.
    Set aside. Cream together sugars, shortening, eggs and vanilla.
    Add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture.
    Mix well. Then add one at a time the oatmeal, peanuts and corn flakes.
    Drop onto a greased cookie sheet the size of a walnut about 1 1/2 inches apart.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
