Almond Triangles - cooking recipe

1 lb. room temperature butter
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. almond extract
1 egg
2 3/4 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. honey
1/4 c. heavy cream
1 lb. sliced almonds (about 5 1/4 c.)
Preparation

Line a 15 x 10-inch jelly roll pan with foil.
Beat 1/2 pound butter, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, salt and almond extract.
Beat in egg and then flour.
Press dough into pan and push up sides. Refrigerate.
Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Prick dough with fork and bake 10 minutes.
