Spanish Chicken And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 broiler-fryer chicken, cut into serving pieces
    2 Tbsp. corn oil
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 green pepper, cut in rings
    1 c. raw rice
    2 cans (8 oz. each) tomato sauce with mushrooms
    1 3/4 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Brown chicken in oil in a skillet.
    Add onion, pepper and rice.
    Cook lightly.
    Stir in remaining ingredients; cover and simmer 40 minutes.
    Serves 4.
