Cheddar-Almond Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. roasted, unblanched almonds or pecans
    2 strips bacon, fried crisp
    1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    1 Tbsp. chopped green onion
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Chop onions and almonds (fine); crumble bacon. Blend all ingredients together. Serve with crackers. Do ahead. Easy. Yield: 2 cups.
