Ingredients

1 (16 oz.) pkg. candied cherries, chopped
1 (16 oz.) pkg. green candied pineapple, chopped
3 c. chopped nuts
2 c. raisins
3 c. flour, divided
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. ground cloves
1 stick margarine
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
4 eggs
3 Tbsp. milk
Preparation

Mix 1/2 cup flour with cherries, pineapple, nuts and raisins. Toss to coat.
Combine 1 1/2 cups flour, soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves; set aside.
Soften margarine and beat in sugar. Continue beating until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and mix well. Add flour mixture gradually.
Add milk.
Stir in fruit mixture. Drop by teaspoonfuls on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Yields 9 dozen.
