Deep Dish Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. sliced apples, peeled
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/8 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. flour (all-purpose)
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    2 or 3 Tbsp. water or skim milk
Preparation
    Place apples in 10 x 6 x 2-inch baking dish.
    In small mixing bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon; set aside 1 teaspoon of mixture. Mix well and sprinkle evenly over apples in dish.
    In medium bowl, stir together flour and nutmeg; cut in margarine until it resembles coarse crumbs.
    Sprinkle 1 tablespoon water over part of mixture; gently toss with fork until well blended.
    Put over apples and press lightly.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 about 40 minutes.
