Mace Cake(A Favorite With Men) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter (2 sq.)
    5 large eggs
    1 3/4 c. flour, sifted and measured
    1 Tbsp. ground mace
    2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Cream butter thoroughly, then add sugar gradually, continuing to beat until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating at least one minute after each addition.
    Continue beating well after all eggs are added and while sifting together flour and mace 3 times, add flour to creamed mixture and beat on medium speed until blended.
    Spoon into a Bundt pan that has been generously greased with shortening and dusted with flour.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until done.
    Turn out of pan immediately.
    Cool and serve uniced.
