Prune Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 cup prunes (cooked and finely chopped)
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup oil
3 eggs
2 cups plain flour
1 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cut buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Heat oven to 325 degrees.
Grease generously and lightly dust tube pan with flour.
Sift together flour, soda, salt, sugar, nutmeg, allspice, and cinnamon.
Add eggs one at a time.
Add oil and buttermilk.
Mix well.
Add nuts, prunes, and vanilla.
Beat for 2 minutes.
Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake 1 hour.
