Plum Good Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 c. canola oil
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 1/3 c. sugar
4 egg whites
2 (6 oz.) jars junior plum baby food
1/2 tsp. red food coloring (optional)
2 c. unbleached all-purpose flour
1 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. freshly grated nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. powdered sugar
4 tsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Toast walnuts on a baking sheet in preheated oven 8 to 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
Watch carefully, they burn easily.
Set aside.
