Cranberry Orange Relish - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (12 oz.) bags fresh cranberries
2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. orange juice
1/4 c. water
1/2 tsp. ginger (1/4 c. fresh or candied)
2 tsp. (at least) finely grated orange peel (approximately 1 large orange)
1/2 c. blanched slivered almonds, toasted about 10 minutes at 350~
Preparation

Combine all ingredients, except almonds, in a large saucepan. Cook on medium-high until cranberries \"pop\", about 10 minutes. Remove from heat.
Stir in almonds.
Serve chilled.
Keeps very well in refrigearator for several days.
