Almond Pine Cones - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. whole natural almonds
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese
    1/2 c. Kraft mayonnaise
    5 crisply cooked bacon slices, crumbled
    1 Tbsp. chopped green onion
    1/2 tsp. dill weed
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Spread almonds in a single layer in a shallow pan.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 15 minutes, stirring often until almonds just begin to turn color.
    Combine softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, bacon, dill and pepper; mix well.
    Cover; chill overnight.
    Form cheese mixture into shapes of 2 pine cones on a serving platter.
    Begin at narrow end and press almonds at a slight angle into cheese mixture in rows.
    Continue overlapping rows until cheese is covered.
    Garnish with artificial pine sprigs.
    Makes 1 1/2 cups.
    Do not freeze.
