Hot Bacon Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 or 6 pieces bacon
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 egg
    1/4 c. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    up to 2 c. water as needed
Preparation
    Fry bacon; drain.
    Cut in little pieces.
    Heat flour, egg, vinegar, sugar and water (a little at a time) to make like a gravy.
    Add bacon pieces.
    Heat until thick, always stirring. Pour over lettuce or endive.
