Hungarian Goulash - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. cubed lean beef
1 c. thinly sliced onion
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 1/2 Tbsp. paprika
2 c. canned tomatoes
1/2 c. (4 oz.) tomato sauce
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/4 c. sour cream
2 c. cooked, drained noodles
chopped parsley
black pepper
Preparation

Brown beef on all sides. Remove beef and set aside.
Saute onion and garlic, stirring until onion is translucent.
Mix in beef and add paprika, tomatoes, tomato sauce, pepper and sugar. Cover and simmer over lowest heat 1 hour. Remove cover and simmer 15 minutes longer. Stir in sour cream and serve over noodles. Garnish with parsley.
Makes 4 servings.
