Ingredients

1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
5 Tbsp. flour
few grains salt
1 1/2 c. milk
2 egg yolks
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
9-inch baked pastry shell
Preparation

Mix brown sugar, flour and salt.
Gradually add milk.
Mix well.
Beat egg yolks and add.
Cook over hot water, stirring constantly, until thick.
Remove from heat.
Add butter or margarine.
Pour into pastry shell.
Swirl meringue on filling. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
