Blueberry Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. soft butter or shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift the first 3 ingredients together.
    Cream butter or shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs and vanilla.
    Beat on high speed until light and fluffy.
    On low speed, beat in flour mixture alternately with 1/2 cup sweet milk, beginning and ending with flour.
    Beat only until smooth.
    Dust 1 1/4 cups fresh blueberries lightly with flour.
    Fold berries gently into batter.
    Fill greased muffin cups with batter 2/3 full.
    Bake 20 to 25 minutes in a 375\u00b0 oven.
    Serve warm.
