Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. cooking oil
    4 eggs, beaten
    2 c. pumpkin
    2/3 c. water
    3 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    1 c. dates (optional)
Preparation
    Cream sugar, oil and eggs together. Add pumpkin and water. Sift together flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add to pumpkin mixture. Mix well and add vanilla, pecans and dates. Grease and flour four 1-pound coffee cans and fill halfway. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour. Allow to cool before removing from cans.
