Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. unsalted peanuts
Preparation
    Melt sugar in skillet over low heat; stir with wooden spoon. Stir in nuts when sugar becomes light brown syrup.
    Carefully pour into greased shallow pan.
    Mark squares while candy is still warm. Cool completely; break into squares or irregular pieces, if you wish.
