Mary'S Best Bean Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can green beans, drained, or 2 1/2 c. cooked beans
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. white wine
    2 Tbsp. fine dry bread crumbs
    2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/2 c. chopped almonds or pecans (optional)
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Melt butter; stir in flour.
    Add soup and wine; cook, stirring constantly, until mixture is thick and smooth.
    Add green beans and almonds; mix well and season to taste.
    Turn into a greased casserole; sprinkle with crumbs and cheese.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until hot and lightly browned.
