Broccoli Mushroom Quiche - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 deep pie shell (uncooked)
egg white
1 c. grated Swiss cheese
1 c. grated sharp cheese
1 c. half and half
6 large mushrooms, sliced
1 (10 oz.) pkg. broccoli, drained
dash of pepper
4 eggs
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. butter
2 Tbsp. parsley
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Brush pie shell with egg white and refrigerate.
Spread cheese in pie shell.
In the butter, saute onion until tender.
Add mushrooms and cook 5 minutes.
Add broccoli, parsley, salt and pepper.
Mix well.
Remove from heat and pour in pie shell.
Beat eggs; add half and half and nutmeg.
Pour over vegetables and cheese in shell.
Bake at 375\u00b0 about 40 to 50 minutes, until golden brown and puffed.
