German Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. German sweet chocolate
    1/2 c. water
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    4 eggs
    1 c. butter or margarine
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Melt chocolate in boiling water; set aside.
    In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
    Also, add melted chocolate and vanilla.
    Stir until smooth.
    In a small mixing bowl, sift together the flour, soda and salt; add dry ingredients to creamed mixture slowly.
    Lastly, add buttermilk and blend all very well.
    Pour into a greased and floured pan.
    Bake until done.
