Poultry Hawaiian(Low-Fat) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, chopped
    3 garlic cloves, minced
    4 carrots, julienne strips
    1 green pepper, in strips
    1 c. celery, sliced
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    6 oz. chicken broth
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/3 c. soy sauce
    1/3 c. pineapple liquid
    1/4 c. pineapple tidbits, drained
    1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts
    1 (4 oz.) can mushroom bits
    3 c. turkey or chicken, in strips
Preparation
    Saute onion and garlic in vegetable oil.
    Stir in carrots, green pepper and celery.
    Add chicken broth.
    Cover and simmer 5 minutes.
    Blend soy sauce and cornstarch until smooth in a separate container.
    Add pineapple liquid; blend.
    Add liquid mixture to vegetable mixture.
    Cook, stirring often, until sauce thickens.
    Boil 5 minutes.
    Stir in pineapple, mushrooms, water chestnuts and poultry.
    Cover and heat slowly.
    Serve over rice or noodles.
