Pepper Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. cooked rice
1 Tbsp. paprika
2 Tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. beef broth
2 green peppers, cut in strips
1/4 c. water
2 large tomatoes, sliced in eighths
1 lb. lean beef round steak, cut 1/2-inch thick
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 c. sliced green onions
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/3 c. soy sauce
Preparation

Pound steak to 1/4-inch thickness; cut into 1/4-inch strips. Sprinkle with paprika; set aside. Brown meat in skillet in butter. Add garlic and broth. Cover and simmer 30 minutes. Stir in onions and green pepper. Cover; cook 5 minutes more.
