Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce (cut small)
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1 pkg. frozen green peas (uncooked)
    2 c. Hellmann's mayonnaise
    2 Tbsp. sugar (sprinkled over mayonnaise)
    1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    8 slices bacon (cooked and crumbled)
Preparation
    Layer ingredients
    in
    the order given in a 9 x 13-inch dish. Cover tightly with Saran Wrap.
    Refrigerate 24 hours or overnight. Will last and stay fresh for at least a week.
