Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. ginger
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/4 c. molasses
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients; cream shortening and sugar.
    Add egg and molasses.
    Stir flour mixture, shape into ball.
    Roll in additional sugar.
    Place on cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Makes 4 to 5 dozen.
