Minnehaha Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 Tbsp. butter
2/3 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. heavy cream
grated rind and juice of 1 lemon
Preparation

Blend together in top of double boiler the butter, brown sugar, heavy cream, and lemon rind and juice.
Cook over boiling water, beating constantly, until sauce is creamy froth.
Serve with freshly cut fruit.
