Pepper-Cheese Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/4 c. hot water
    2 1/2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 c. sour cream
    1 egg
    1 c. shredded mild Cheddar cheese
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    In large mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in hot water.
    Add half the flour, then egg, sugar, salt, soda and sour cream.
    Blend for 1/2 minute with mixer on low speed, then blend for 2 minutes on high speed.
    Stir in rest of flour, cheese and pepper.
    Divide dough evenly in two 1 pound coffee cans
    (well greased).
    Let rise in a warm place for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
