Ingredients

2 1/2 c. quick cooking oats
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. whole milk
2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 lb. butter (1 stick)
4 Tbsp. cocoa
peanut butter (optional)
Preparation

Cook in a large saucepan.
Mix all ingredients excluding oats and vanilla.
Pour into a saucepan and stir until a full boil. Cook 1 1/2 minutes at a full boil.
Remove from heat; add quick cooking oats, vanilla and peanut butter (optional).
Spoon onto wax paper and cool.
